Itinerary: DAY 1: Arrival: Transfer from the airport or bus station to the office for a final tour briefing. Store any unnecessary luggage for a comfortable trip. Transfer to Lodge: A 2-hour 4x4 truck ride to the Tambopata River or a 6-hour river journey (informational). Boat Ride: Board a boat to the Lodge. Welcome Meal: Enjoy breakfast or lunch, depending on arrival time. Introductory Walk: Explore the rainforest, observing amphibians, mammals, reptiles, and various insects. DAY 2: Early Start: Depart at 4:30 am to the world's largest macaw clay lick, CHUNCHO. Boat Ride: A 1.5-hour boat trip, possibly spotting capybaras, tapirs, and jaguars.
